Well, this post is about another masterpiece of Rick Riordan: The Kane Chronicles.

I like the idea of Egyptian gods and goddesses. And the main characters are also really interesting (But no one can beat the swag of Percy Jackson, I assure you). Two siblings, the Kanes. Sadie and Carter. I love both of them. Sadie, with her annoying acts is so real. Rick Riordan surely really understand what’s on us girls’ minds. And Carter… he has his own charms. Unfortunately, he already has Zia Rashid as his primary crush

The series has 3 books. The Red Pyramid, The Throne of Fire, and the newest (published on May 1st) is The Serpent’s Shadow. I read in a website, it was Rick Riordan’s website if I’m not mistaken ( www.rickriordan.com ) that he will continue the sequel of the serial. Just like Percy Jackson and The Olympians with The Heroes of Olympus.

In Indonesia, only The Red Pyramid that has been translated. I’m on my way reading the Throne of Fire, but it’s the English version. Can’t wait for the translated version
